Add softened butter, brown, and white sugar to a bowl and beat. Add in softened cream cheese, yogurt, maple syrup, and maple extract. Beat it again until everything is well mixed
Add all of the dry ingredients in with the wet ingredients: flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Use a hand mixer to combine. Set batter aside.
Then, in another small mixing bowl, mix together cane sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside. Lastly, make the cream cheese filling. In a third mixing bowl, add all of the cream cheese filling ingredients. Beat on high.
Line pan with Crisco. Pour half of the maple cake batter into the bundt cake pan. Then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top. Add remaining batter.
Bake at 350°F for 60-70 minutes. While it bakes, make frosting. Place cream cheese and butter into a mixing bowl and use a hand mixer to blend it. Add powdered sugar and maple extract and beat again.
Once cooled, flip the bundt cake over onto a plate. Pour the frosting over top. Slice and enjoy!
