Make orange batter

01.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Beat softened butter and sugar in a stand mixer until well combined. Add in egg and orange extract. Beat again.

Add dry ingredients

Add the baking powder and salt. Measure out the flour and eggnog then alternate with a bit of flour and a bit of eggnog beating between each addition until well combined

Make chocolate batter

Beat softened butter and sugar with an electric mixer until well combined. Add in egg and vanilla extract. Beat again.

Add dry ingredients

Measure the cocoa powder, baking powder, gingerbread seasoning, and salt. Fold into the batter. The mixture will be thick. Add flour and milk.

Add to pan

 Using a spoon, layer dollops of gingerbread chocolate cake batter and orange eggnog batter, every other, until all batter is in the pan.

Bake

06.

Bake for 55-65 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.

Glaze

07.

Let the bread come to room temperature, top with the orange glaze, slice to enjoy!
