Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line your 8 x 4 loaf pan with parchment.

Cream butter

Then in a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat together butter and sugar.

Add wet ingredients

Once combined, add in eggs, lemon juice, lemon yogurt, and almond extract and beat again.

Add dry ingredients

When your batter is smooth throughout, add baking powder, salt, and SIFTED cake flour.

Add zest

Beat together again and pour in the in milk while mixing. Your batter should be light and fluffy. Then, once combined, stir in lemon zest.

Bake

06.

Pour the lemon loaf batter into the pan. Bake your loaf for 35-50 minutes. You want to ensure that the middle is done baking before removing from the oven!

Glaze

07.

To make the frosting glaze, in a small bowl beat all ingredients together. Let your loaf cool and add glaze. Slice and enjoy!
