Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Microwave safe bowl
  • parchment paper
  • Baking sheet
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Rubber spatula or wooden spoon

Ingredients

  • cup pretzel snaps
  • cup Parmesan Goldfish
  • ½ cup Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles chips
  • cup Honey BBQ Fritos
  • ½ cup oyster crackers
  • ½ cup White Cheddar Cheez-Its
  • 1 stick butter
  • ½ cup shaved parmesan cheese
  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning
  • 1 packet dry ranch dressing seasoning mix

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 225°F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, use a wooden spoon or rubber spatula to gently fold together pretzel snaps, parmesan Goldfish, cheddar and sour cream chips, honey BBQ Fritos, oyster crackers, and white cheddar Cheez-Its.
  • Melt butter in a microwave safe dish. Then, whisk in 1 packet of dry ranch DRESSING mix.
  • Next, whisk shaved parmesan cheese into the butter and ranch mixture.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the snack bowl and toss well. You really want to make sure all the snacks are coated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the snack mix onto the baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle the ranch POWDER packet onto the snack mix and gently toss around.
  • Place baking sheet in the oven for 1 hour. While the snack mix is baking, remove to mix 2-3 times to prevent burning.
  • Remove snack mix from the oven. Your house will smell *AMAZING*! Allow it to cool for 15-20 minutes prior to serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container on the counter or in the pantry for up to 1 week.
You want the dry ingredients to be well coated with ranch/butter mixture, but not soggy prior to cooking. Using the correct ratios provided in this recipe will ensure that doesn't happen.
