Pear Vinaigrette
Coming together in just five minutes, this Pear Vinaigrette is a light, yet flavorful dressing perfect for all of your fall and winter salads when pears are in season

- 1 Barlett Pear ripe
- 1 tbsp Pomegranate Seeds
- 1 tbsp Zero Acres cultured oil or sub olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- ½ tsp salt
- pepper to taste
- ½ tbsp minced garlic to taste
Cut the stem away from the pair, then dice into small pieces.
In an immersion blender cup, add diced pears, oil, honey, red wine vinegar, dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Blend it until the pears are completely dissolved.
Add the pomegranate seeds into the vinaigrette and blend again.
Store in an airtight mason jar with a lid until ready to enjoy. Shake before use.
You MUST have a ripe pear for this recipe. It will add sweetness to the dressing as well as make it into a vinaigrette.
To ripen pears quickly, place them in a sealed brown paper bag on the counter for 1-2 days. Move them to the refrigerator once they’re soft and ripened.
