Sweet Onion and Citrus Dressing Recipe

This Sweet Onion and Citrus Dressing will take your salad, grain bowl, or sandwich from good to great. It’s an easy blender recipe with fresh and bright flavors that you’re going to love.

Equipment

  • blender or food processor
  • measuring cups / spoons
  • glass jar

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Vidalia sweet onions
  • 2 tbsp cultured oil Zero Acres
  • ½ orange
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp honey mustard or dijon
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp poppy seeds
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • In a blender, add all of the ingredients together.
  • Blend for 40-50 seconds until all of the onions are completely blended.
  • Taste it to ensure it isn’t too acidic. If needed, add 1-2 more tablespoons of olive oil or honey.
  • Add to a jar and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to allow it to chill prior to serving.
  • Drizzle on your favorite salad and enjoy!

Notes

Store in a jar in the fridge for up to 5 days. Shake before use.
