Equipment

  • Food Processor
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Handheld juicer
  • Rubber Spatula

Ingredients

  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 12 oz cherry tomatoes
  • ½ small red onion
  • ½ cup cilantro
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper
  • 1 tbsp cultured oil or olive oil
  • 1 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 tsp chile lime seasoning Trader Joe's
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • In a food processor, add garlic cloves, cilantro, jalapeño (de-seeded), red onion, oil, vinegar, and lime juice.
  • Pulse for 20-30 seconds until the vegetables are finely minced.
  • Then add in the tomatoes and salt, and pulse until the tomatoes are combined.
  • Serve with chips, other vegetables, on top of tacos, or whatever else you’d like.

Notes

Depending on your preference of salsa texture, there are two ways you can make this recipe.
  • If you prefer a thinner salsa, add the tomatoes WITH all of the rest of the ingredients and pulse together.
  • Adding the tomatoes after the initial pulsing will give a thicker, chunkier salsa.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
