If you plan to infuse your tequila, chop one of your jalapeños and add it to the bottle for 2 – 7 days and store in the freezer. The longer you infuse it, the spicier it will be. You can also use an already infused tequila. If you don’t want too much spice, just use regular tequila.
Dump some of your sea salt into a bowl big enough to dip your glasses in and slice your lime. Rim each glass with your lime slice and dip them in the salt.
Wash and slice your oranges and your other jalapeño. Place an orange slice and a few jalapeño slices in your glasses and muddle.
Fill your glasses with ice.
Measure and pour tequila and triple sec in a cocktail shaker. Stir.
Measure and pour in orange sparkling water. Stir. NOTE: Do NOT shake. If you do, the carbonation will make your drink explode everywhere.
Pour into glasses and then garnish with dried oranges, fresh jalapeño, or whatever your heart desires.
