Carrot Margarita

If you’re looking for a fresh and unique new cocktail, this Carrot Margarita is absolutely for you. Sweet carrot juice pairs so well with crisp tequila mixed with orange flavors creates the most refreshing marg.

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • small plate

Ingredients

  • 3 oz carrot juice
  • 3 oz orange juice
  • 1 lime
  • 3 oz silver tequila
  • 1.5 oz triple sec
  • 2 cups crushed ice
  • salt/sugar for rimming
  • orange slice for rimming/garnish
  • carrot ribbon for garnish
  • lime wedge for garnish

Instructions

  • Pour the salt onto a small plate. Rim each class with an orange wedge. Then, dip into the salt.
  • Add ice into each glass.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add crushed ice, tequila, carrot juice, orange juice, triple sec, and lime juice. Give it a good shake.
  • Pour into each glass and garnish with fresh mint sprig, orange slice, or shaved garden carrot. Enjoy!

Notes

I used store-bought, bottled carrot juice, but if you’ve got your own juicer use freshly squeezed juice if desired!
