These Champagne Strawberries offer a delightful fusion of sweet and bubbly flavors, making them a luxurious treat for special occasions. Each berry is delicately infused with the fizziness of champagne, creating a sophisticated indulgence that tantalizes the palate.
Wash the strawberries thoroughly. Fill a mixing bowl with water and some baking soda, place the strawberries in the bowl for 20 minutes. Then drain and rinse.
Use a toothpick to poke a hole or two into each strawberry. I like to do this because it helps the champagne soak into the berry.
Cover the bowl and let soak in the fridge for 3-4 hours. Remove the berries and gently pat dry.
Dip into a bowl with sugar and then place on a serving tray. ENJOY!!
