Equipment

  • strainer
  • large bowl
  • Plate
  • paper towel

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle champagne
  • 18 fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Wash the strawberries thoroughly. Fill a mixing bowl with water and some baking soda, place the strawberries in the bowl for 20 minutes. Then drain and rinse.
  • Use a toothpick to poke a hole or two into each strawberry. I like to do this because it helps the champagne soak into the berry.

  • Cover the bowl and let soak in the fridge for 3-4 hours. Remove the berries and gently pat dry.
  • Dip into a bowl with sugar and then place on a serving tray. ENJOY!!
