Frozen Sangria Recipe

If your favorite summer sangria and a scoop of fruity sorbet had a baby, this Frozen Sangria would be it. Made with wine, fresh citrus, frozen fruit, and a touch of honey, it's the ultimate make-ahead treat for hot afternoons, backyard gatherings, or a refreshing after-dinner dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cup Sauvignon Blanc
  • 2 ½ cups frozen fruit medley we used pineapple, mangoes, peaches & strawberries
  • 2 oz Cointreau or other liquor like triple sec
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 orange juiced

Instructions

  • In a high speed blender, blend all ingredients until smooth. Ensure the honey is blended and no large fruit pieces remain (the smoothier the better).

  • Give it a quick taste test to ensure it’s to your liking! Pour into a loaf pan and cover with plastic wrap.

  • Freeze for 6-8 hours until sangria is set.
  • Remove from the freezer, scoop into bowls and enjoy cold! Feeling fancy? Pour some bubbly on top for a little frozen spritz moment.

Notes

Make sure you blend the mixture SMOOTH before freezing. This makes it more like a sorbet as opposed to a scoopable smoothie.
