Serving Glass
- 1 cup vanilla greek yogurt Two Good
- 1 cup vanilla unsweetened almond milk or other milk of choice
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder Clean Simple Eats
- 1 cup figs fresh or frozen
- ½ cup pomegranate seeds
- 2 tbsp coconut flakes for garnish optional
- 1 cup ice IF USING FRESH FIGS
In a blender, combine yogurt, milk, protein powder, figs, and fresh pomegranates. If using fresh figs, add ice here, too.
Blend for 45-60 seconds until fruit is thoroughly blended.
Pour into two glasses, garnish with coconut flakes and enjoy!
Optional add ins: banana, chia seeds, oats, peanut/almond butter, spinach (but blend spinach alone with a splash of milk or water first to avoid any chunks)
Make sure to add the protein powder in between other ingredients. If you add it closest to the blade, it can heat up and taste burnt.
If using fresh fruit only, you'll want to also add ice to ensure your smoothie is cold enough and thick enough.
