Holiday Gift Guide | For The Host

This post may contain affiliate links; please read my disclosure policy.

While you may not be going to any large gatherings this holiday season, this gift guide is intended for anyone that you need to gift for but just aren’t sure where to start. From games to cocktail accessories, there’s surely something the recipient will enjoy!

The details & links

  1. Game Night: the game of quarantine for us was Qwixx, Bananagrams, or Skipbo. These all make the perfect stocking stuffers or for the game lover in your life. Extra large Jenga is also a fun game.
  2. Everyone loves a charcuterie board; take one over to a friends house fully assembled and leave the board as a gift!
  3. Nothing like a lovely scented candle to brighten your host’s day.
  4. The most unique acrylic tray – great for serving or decor on a coffee table.
  5. Tasteful cocktail glasses: super fun and classy!
  6. These Silicon Ice Trays make cocktails feel gourmet. Great for any mixologist (or practicing one).
  7. Trendy (and practical) wine rack that can hold up to 7 bottles.

I’d love to hear your gift ideas ‘for the host‘ in the comments below! I truly believe all of these items would make great gifts. If you shop through me, I do receive a commission on some items. That being said, I highly encourage you to shop small this season too; 2020 has been a rollercoaster – support small businesses when you can. Above all, thank you for supporting mine.

Yesterday on my stories I released my eating disor Yesterday on my stories I released my eating disorder blog post. It’s a beast (9 pages of a google doc), yet I still feel like I could write a narrative on each individual memory. It covers just about 6 years of my life. It’s heartbreaking, vulnerable, and even a little silly. It’s there - whether it interests you or not. As a resource, as someone who gets it, or just there.
.
“I can’t tell you what my life would be like now if I didn’t have these experiences today. They shaped me in who I am; but also taught me a lot more about my worth and value as a person who is proud to take up space. Earlier, I mentioned something about if I could get those years back. It’s a sharp reality to me that understands how much of each day is a gift. How much life there is to live that has absolutely nothing to do with what your body looks like and what you eat. In these years, there were hundreds of people who supported me in ways that I will never forget…you know who you are – thank you.”
