Margarita Tips

  • Use fresh lime juice – It makes a huge difference over bottled. Bright, tart, and way more flavorful.
  • Good tequila matters – Go for 100% agave tequila (blanco or reposado). It doesn’t have to be top-shelf, just clean and smooth.
  • Sweeten to your liking – Add agave syrup or simple syrup if you want it a little sweeter. Taste as you go!
  • Salt the rim (or part of it) – A salted rim adds flavor contrast. You can also do half the rim in case someone wants options.
  • Shake, don’t stir – Shaking chills and mixes everything better, especially with fresh juice.
  • Chill your glass – A cold glass keeps your margarita crisp and refreshing longer.
