This Apple Pie Martini is a fall spiced cocktail with an apple cider base, caramel vodka, caramel creamer and cinnamon, too. When shaken with ice, you get a chilled, creamy autumn cocktail you’ll want to sip on all season long.

Easy Fall Martini Recipe

If you loved my Thanksgiving Margarita, which has similar fall flavors, you’re also going to enjoy this Apple Pie Martini for the holiday season.

You may have had an Apple Martini (or Appletini) before, but this drink is less sour, and features warmer spices. Think of a slice of your family’s holiday Apple Pie all captured into a sippable, creamy cocktail.

To be extra, the glass is rimmed with a honey and cinnamon sugar rim. Pour your Apple Pie Martini into the garnished glass and sip your sophisticated drink during your fall happy hours and holiday parties.

And while you’re here, also check out my other fall cocktails like this Apple Cider Spritz, this Crown Apple Slush, Cranberry Whiskey Sour, Pomegranate Champagne Punch, or this Cranberry Fizz Cocktail for festive sipping, too!

Recipe Ingredients

  • Caramel Vodka – Flavored vodka adds to the Apple Pie theme of this recipe and tames the sharp alcohol taste.
  • Triple Sec – Adds a bit more sweet fruitiness.
  • Apple Cider – This is our mixer for the Apple Pie Martini. Get it fresh from the cider mill if you can! Apple juice can work in a pinch. I advise against using hard cider as it only has a little bit of that apple taste we’re going for.
  • Caramel Creamer – or other apple flavoring / half & half – Starbucks Caramel Macchiato cream can be found in most grocery stores and works great. They have both a dairy and a non dairy version. Any other brand will also do.
  • Ground Cinnamon – To bring out the warm fall flavors.

Expert Tips

  • I like a chilled martini. If you’re like me, add some ice to the shaker with the martini ingredients and strain the apple pie cocktail into the glass.
  • For some extra presentation points, before pouring your caramel apple pie martini, instead of just sugaring the rim, add crushed graham cracker to a small plate, dip the rim of your glass into caramel syrup and then the crumbs. It gives off pie crust vibes!

Recipe FAQs

How can I store this cocktail?

You can make this caramel apple martini in advance (i.e. combine all of the ingredients), but you’ll want to shake in your shaker again before enjoying.

When should I serve an apple cider martini?

This cocktail is best served during a happy hour, as a pre-dinner drink or after dinner. In my opinion, it is too flavorful and sweet to be paired with a full meal.

It is apple pie after all, so it’s perfect as dessert. This is a great dessert alongside a slice of real apple pie, pumpkin pie, or one of my pumpkin cheesecake cookies. Apple Pie Martinis are great for holiday parties, fall social gatherings, or a cozy autumn date night in.

What other alcohol variations would work in this drink?

Instead of the caramel flavored vodka and/or triple sec, you could use a combination of any of the following for another take on this Apple Pie Martini.
– Vanilla Vodka
– Cinnamon Schnapps
– Apple Pie Baileys (if you use this double the amount and skip the creamer, it is already creamy enough)
– Malibu for an even creamier cocktail

Loved this drink, perfect for the holidays! We didn’t have caramel creamer, so we subbed with egg nog. Perfect combo! Thanks for the recipe!
