a fun and frisky Valentine's Day treat
Remember those Boozy Halloween Fruit Snacks? Well, here's your Valentine's Day version! And let me tell you, this Rosé version may be even more delicious—because Rosé, duh!
These fruit snacks contain two types of alcohol: Rosé and vodka. That means double the fun! 😉 I made them with raspberry flavored gelatin, but you could also use strawberry if you want to keep the red color or any other flavor you'd like if that isn't important to you. The only other ingredient you need is sugar, making these an incredibly easy-to-make recipe.
Serve these Valentine's Day Rosé Fruit Snacks up to your girlfriends at your Valentine's Day celebration. They make an especially great for Galentine's Day, too. They're such a fun way to unwind. (Responsibly, of course). Use the gummies as a drink garnish, play a game, or try to catch them in your mouth. Whatever sounds fun to you!
Ingredients for Valentine's Day Rosé Fruit Snacks
Rosé: Use your favorite kind here.
Vodka: Again, use what you have around or what you like!
Gelatin: I used a sugar-free Raspberry flavor as well as an unflavored gelatin.
Sugar: I used regular cane sugar.
Kitchen equipment you'll need
To make these Valentine's Day Rosé Fruit Snacks, you'll need a heart shaped silicone mold, saucepan, shot glass, sheet pan, parchment paper, measuring cups and spoons, a rubber spatula, and a whisk.
You can also use clear plastic condiment cups to make Jell-O shots instead!
Let's make these valentine's day rosé fruit snacks
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place your heart silicone molds on top.
- Next, heat a saucepan on the stove over low heat.
- Measure rose and vodka and pour into the saucepan. Whisk together.
- Then, sprinkle in raspberry gelatin and sugar. You'll see the liquid start to thicken and bubble. Keep whisking so it doesn't burn.
- Then, turn off the heat. Continue to whisk for another minute or two.
- Pour equal amounts of the combined alcohol and gelatin mixture into the heart molds. Use a rubber spatula to top them off if needed.
- Then, place the baking sheet with the filled molds in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until the boozy fruit snacks solidify. You should be able to remove the fruit snacks from the mold easily without damaging them. I like to do this by popping them out from the back of the mold with my fingers.
- Enjoy responsibly :*

Frequently asked questions (and answers!)
How do I store these fruit snacks?
You can store them in the fridge or at room temperature for up to 5 days. I think they taste best chilled!
What if I don't have heart shaped silicone molds?
That’s okay! It’s just to make them more festive. I recommend making them into Jell-O shots instead. This will make them easy to store and share. Tip: After you make the heart gummies, you can serve them in the clear plastic condiment cups, too. How COVID friendly of us!
What is 2oz equivalent to in cups?
It's equivalent to ¼ cup.
Can I make these alcoholic snacks stronger?
You can, but you’ll need to add more gelatin. Add 1 tablespoon of gelatin for every 2 ounces of extra alcohol.
Any tips for success?
Don't let the burner get too hot when combining the alcohol and gelatin. Make sure it's low and that you're whisking constantly until everything is dissolved.
Can I freeze these adult fruit snacks?
I haven't tried to freeze them, but I think they would freeze well.
Are these good for meal prep?
I mean, technically yes! You can make them to enjoy over the course of the weekend and they'll hold up well. If Jell-O shots are your meal prep, then we can be friends! They also transport super well if you’re heading to a Valentine’s Day themed party.

Loved this recipe and they turned out so cute. Very easy to follow, I doubled the recipe and brought them to a galentines day party. They were a hit! Also, used a half bottle of rose for the recipe and was able to drink the other half while I let them set in the fridge 😉
