Easy Alcohol Gummies

Remember those Boozy Halloween Fruit Snacks? Well, here’s your Valentine’s Day version! And let me tell you, this Rosé version may be even more delicious—because Rosé, duh!

These Pink Jello Shots contain two types of alcohol: Rosé and vodka. That means double the fun! 😉 I made them with raspberry flavored gelatin, but you could also use strawberry or fruit punch if you prefer. The only other ingredient you need is sugar, making these an incredibly easy recipe.

Serve Pink-Themed Jello Shots up for Galentine’s Day for a fun way to celebrate and unwind at your next party. Use the jello shots as a drink garnish, play a game, or try to catch them in your mouth. Whatever sounds fun to you!

Recipe Ingredients

Ingredients needed for pink jello shots on pink background.
  • Rosé: Use your favorite kind here.
  • Vodka: Again, use what you have around or what you like! I used Tito’s plain vodka, but you could do flavored, too like pink lemonade vodka or strawberry vodka.
  • Gelatin: I used a sugar-free Raspberry flavor jello powder (makes it taste like a starburst candy!) as well as an unflavored gelatin. And if you buy extra, make this Strawberry Fluff, too!
  • Sugar: I used regular cane sugar. The additional sweetness helps cut the boozy flavor.

Substitutions and Variations

You can make these boozy fruit snacks to celebrate any time of year for any occasion! All you have to do is switch out some molds and potentially a different jello. Here are some ideas:

  • Christmas: Try some candy cane or Christmas tree molds!
  • Birthdays: Balloon or cake shapes would be so fun. You could even find number molds to make gummies out of your age!
  • Seasons: Celebrate the start of each season with seasonal molds. Snowflakes for winter, flowers for spring, the sun for the summer, and leaves for fall. How cute!

5. Place the baking sheet with the filled molds in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until the boozy fruit snacks solidify. You should be able to remove the fruit snacks from the mold easily without damaging them. I like to do this by popping them out from the back of the mold with my fingers.

6. Enjoy responsibly! I serve mine in a glass of bubbly rosé as a garnish or two. So delicious!

PRO TIPS

Don’t let the burner get too hot when combining the alcohol and gelatin. Make sure it’s low and that you’re whisking constantly until everything is dissolved.

Recipe FAQs

How do you store them

You can store your jell-o shots in the fridge for up to 5 days (perfect if you want to party prep in advance). You cant them covered in plastic wrap or in an airtight container to lock out any extra moisture.

Can I make these without the heart shaped mold?

Definitely! I recommend making them into plastic Jello shot glasses instead. This will make them easy to store and share. Tip: After you make the heart gummies, you can serve them in the clear plastic cups, too for easy grabbing.

How do you measure 2 oz?

Use a jigger or if you don’t have one, use a measuring cup. Two ounces equivalent to ¼ cup.

Serving suggestions

Loved this recipe and they turned out so cute. Very easy to follow, I doubled the recipe and brought them to a galentines day party. They were a hit! Also, used a half bottle of rose for the recipe and was able to drink the other half while I let them set in the fridge 😉

Are these overly sweet? Wondering if I’m able to swap out the raspberry gelatine for regular? Just don’t want anything tooooo sweet

Hey Sarah! These aren’t too too sweet, but if you do want to cut out some of the sugar, we recommend cutting the cane sugar before swapping out the raspberry gelatine. The gelatine provides the majority of the flavor in this recipe and without it, they would be veryyy boozy.
